Introduction
Simply connect to both sides of an HDMI cable (there is an HDMI socket on the back of the injector) and these IR injector devices will relay commands from a remote control back to the piece of equipment the remote control belongs to, such as a Blu-Ray player. If there is more than 1 device you would like to control, a simple 3.5mm splitter adapter can be used with the IR emitter (contact us if you wish to purchase an additional emitter). The IR Injectors work by utilising the CEC channel already present in an HDMI cable (therefore an additional cable for IR control does not need to be run).
They can be used with most HDMI matrix switchers, splitters and switches too but unfortunately cannot be used with an HDMI balun.
